014 - Incursion strikes back

Today's post will be probably very short. I just want to share my opinions on the new patch. I hate it and love it at the same time. I was little bit scared that I will end up with some ugly looking guy so I took long time reading help. It saved my ass.

But first things first. My character creator was lagged all the time even when I tried to log off and restart my computer. So I start making my way throught the procedure at very slow pace. The click and drag system is awesome. I was also happy that Gallente male finally can wear dredlocks. I was little sad about the fact that my new avatar can't have any kind of tatoos, implants or other cool stuff.

Finally the portraits. I heard that many peopl who haven't read help thought that they can keep all four of them (it would be cool). I think that CCP should put some confirmation window there before you get stuck with one portrait.

I hope that they will add more stuff like clothes, robes, hats and those tatoos later. Maybe in Incarna.

But what took my breath away was completly different thing. I probably got drunk last night and ordered golden painting for my Retriever. So now I have Gaold Retriever. I'm thinking about ranaming that ship to Barking puppy or something like that.

013 - Space War III

So I am back again,

War is upon us now for a few days so here I am with some info. As you surely know we was wardced by Zero point group. Those guys seems to be really good PVPers but more on that later.

Few hours before the war was on, we putted together some mining op. It is always useful to make some ISK before the war. I order my chief engieneer to fit me some good PVP ship. He came with Swift Hunter Mk-IIa. Incursus for 350k ISK. Ship which is ready to blown up again and again. So I fitted 10 of them and placed them in my hangar.

So when the war started I was prepared. I flew some patrols with Ustrello and we didn't find any targets.. I was really sad I was looking forward to be blown up to pieces. Then today it happend. After really funny flame war in alli chat (Im helping more with the war then you are etc..), we spotted some WTs. I really don't remember in which system they were, but we went after them. In Balle we run into few others WTs. We continued on our route and they started to follow us. We waited for them on gate in Pemene.

Gate fire! First Crusader came through. I tackled him, Ust killed him. I was little bit scared becouse that piece of junk I was flying was shaking a little bit in some high speed maneuvers. Then Ares came. I tackled him, Ust killed him. Then Hurricane came through. I tackled him and... I got killed. It was really funny. I enjoyed it. I warped in my pod to nearby station got my shiny new Velator (I hate that ship), pickup my insurance checque and set off back to Augnais.

I stayed in Aug for a while. I was sitting in my favourite Quafe shop (I had to stop drinking that stuff) when some WTs appeared on local. So we start putting fleet together. And it took for loooooooooooooooong time. Evryone had some problems with fits or bowel movement.

Then our FC undocked and after while we undocked too. It was nice firework but that Legion we were up against was really tough. When we start finishing his armor he docked repaired and undocked. Then I got killed again. That Legion kept docking und undocking... sometimes it was really annoying. Booom another Swift Hunter Mk-IIa went to hell. Thats not the problem. Problem was that I lost my pod and I really don't like the downloading process. It's like I am going down the drain. So that is all for today and see you soon. Here are some pictures.

012 - Roaming

Hellow my fellow corp/alliance/space-mates,

So another war is coming... But I am skipping ahead of myself. So after I returned from my Sansha scouting mission I finally decided what ships I wanna fly... Tadadada it's Covert Ops. I think that they will work nicely for my photo trips to war zones. For normal sightseeing I will still use my Last Traveller not becouse its the strongest or fastest ship out there, but just becouse I love it.

So what has been happening in my EVE life? Nothing much still mining and taking screens. But it changed yesterday. I went to low-sec roam with our security wing. It was really fun we scouted some low-secs around our home system and I learned some new things. I was flying e-war Celestis. I was really looking forward to meeting those mysterious guys form low-sec who are said to be skilled and cunning pilots.

Firstly we met some Drake hugging the gate. He droped the can so we flew by it. Then we start to bump into him. He probably had a new paint so he decided to jump away. So we jumped to another system and another and another and so on... Some were small some were huge.

Then we encountered Dominix. First we thought he was autopiloting so we started our usual procedure. Bump bump bumpidy bump... then he suddenly warped to a planet. We divided and warped after him. One of us found him. So the rest of us aligned and warped. Once I jumped into warp I heard something I didn't like. "Shit he lit the cyno!". By the words of famous admiral Ackbar:" Its a trap!"

It was too late for me to stop the ship so there I was in warp heading to huge hostile fleet. I sadly don't have any photos from that memorable moment couse I wanna stay alive. Once I left the warp I used my hardly trained trick. Align-MWD-cloak combo. That cloaking piece of stuff saved my ass. I made it out. Then we stayed on some safespots and once CONCORD granted us premission to use the gates we left the system.

So that was end of my first roam. I think it was succesful one. I think that becouse I survived.
