024 - To blob or not to blob?

Hi,

So all of you probably seen the trailer I was there. After almost three months living in null I can proudly said I was there too. I mean, I participated in some of the big fleet fights. It is great feeling to be part of something that big and something that works like well oiled machine...but. But I think I enjoy more the classic low-sec pirating or small gangs and roams.

Don't take me wrong. I am not saying that those battles aren't epic I am just saying that they aren't exactly my cup of tea. FC tells you what to shoot and you start shooting. Becouse of the lag you can't enjoy the great graphics of EVE and have to have your camera completly zoomed out and that sucks, at least for me. Also there are those famous kill mails. Sometimes you don't get on them becouse target is dead before you can even lock him, but that is ok we are not playing EVE for km's are we? On the other hand it is greeat feeling when you got yellow-boxed, you almost dying and your brave logistic guys save your ass and that expensive piece of junk you flying int he last second. I admire them and I think they deserve more respect then they have.

The other thing about those epic fights is that they  are often preceded by long time waiting on titan before anything happens. And then it comes. Bridge is up, you are jumping in, client freezes sometimes, then you are there few light years away and there are 5 battleships against your 50man gang speak about fair game. I know that EVE isn't exactly fair game but this is boring little bit. When you got in fight where nubers on both size are same its something else, but it doesn't happen often, or at least not for me.

What I am saying is that I like roaming small fleets and low-sec pirating far more better then those huge null fights. In small fleet there is usualy better atmosphere on comms, no one is so stressed out (remember that Shadoo video?) and fights usualy last longer then one cycle of your weapons. I think this attitude of mine goes hand in hand with the fact that I preffer to fly small ships (tech 2 Gallente frigates forever!!).

So what is your opinion on this? What kind of fights do you like the best? There is poll on left side and please feel free to comment and share your opinions.

Does this look like in the trailers?

023 - Veldnaught

Hello,

This is only another small photoblog. I jumped back to empire to get some supplies and haul some fuels. On my way to my former base in Reset I met Chribba in Ammar solar system and took some screens of his famous Veldonought.  Oh so much happy memories seeing people mining in high-sec.

Old mining colony near one of the gates on my route.

Flying in tandem with some other industrial ship.

And here it is. Famous Chribba's Veldnought mining in Ammar belts. I am pretty proud of this pictures.

Carebear safe...

022 - Null roam pictures

Only few pictures from some roaming in null. I am posting them on twitter but here it is in better quality. Roams here are very different from roams I was used to. I would say more fun but I still somehow miss the thrill of low-sec pirating.

2011/09/28 - I don't remember this roam much except the fact i got plenty of bookmarks on Fountain jump bridge network. I really like this set of gate pictures.

2011/10/16 - Naked Fleet - This was really fun roam. We killed one Drake and then "tacticly retreated" all the way to 6VDT-H where we tryed to help TEST fleet which really messed things up since some of us couldn't get on their coms. So fleet broke up. Some of us went home some of us stayed and fight. At least I got finally one screen of the Gallente outpost.

Good flying and Hunt safe...

021 - From Null with Love

Hello there my fellow 0.0 pioneers and empire dwellers,

So as I said before my blogs will be more photo oriented from now on. I will sill come up with some story if there is anything interesting to write about but if it is not I will at least post some pictures time to time.

You know that I and few my corpmates moved to null and joined Mindstar. Since I moved I have been ratting and mining to make some money for pvp ships. I also attended some fleets and it is great here.

I will also try to update my Twitter more often so you can follow me there. So here are the pictures.

Girls. Do you wanna have fun?

One of Ustrello's fighters. If you look closely you can see the pilot.

I don't know why but this picture reminds me of Alien movie somehow.

This is one of the my favourite pictures. Those dust clouds looks great

PvP fleet and my great Maulus

020 - Moving

So after another big break I am back,

Many new things happened in my EVE life. Last time I left you with info that I am going to recruit some new people into our corp. I don´t really remember if I had some luck then. Once I got back our corp continued doing our regular things. Mining in Reset doing some low-sec roams and preparing for move to low-sec.

After I returned from my summer breaks I found my EVE mail crowded. Everyone wanted something but somewhere in between there was invitation. Invitation from our ex-corpmember to join his corp. So I put it into vote and more then majority was for going so we started preparing for move. I had strange feeling when I was closing down offices, stoping recruitment and preparing corporation for closing. After one week we were ready to go. We packed our orcas badgers and set off. Exodus trailer depicted our situation pretty well. 35 jumps throught empire and then 42 in low and null sec.

We contracted our stuff and joined to our new corporation. Mindstar technology corporation member of Executive outcomes alliance a.k.a. our new home. I plugged myself into my Last Traveller and set on my journey. Before I went down to my new home I realized I haven't seen one of the most famous places in New Eden. The Black Monolith in Dead End system. Journey there was nice and quiet and I got some nice screens of it.

After returning from Dead End I immediatly set off on journey to my new home. So there I was sitting in our outpost deep in zero space waiting for my ships. I started going throught hulk setups and realized I forgot to buy some shield modules. So I started browsing throught local market almost all stuff I wanted was located in NPC station at Serpentis Prime System. I bought them and went for them. So few things I need to remember from this event. First one: Never go to dead end NPC system becouse gate is heavily camped. Thats it.

I jumped in and there is nice shiny dictor bubble around the gate, three interceptors and two BCs. So I cloaked and slowly drifted from buble when I was out I safely entered warp and went off. I picked my stuff warp to 70km from the gate and watch the camp for a while. They dont seem to have the buuble up so I jumped back to the station, calibrated my nav computer to warp 0km from crossed my fingers and entered the warp. I was lucky bubble was still down so I landed right at top of the gate and immediatly jumped. On the other side of the gate there were few of them again but without buble so I started warping towards next gate in the route. And then it happend, I got locked and warning about me being scrambled poped up. My warp core stabilizators started humming and then they pumped some more energy into warpdrive and I jumped. Three times running throught the same blockade in 20minutes. I was happy.

So thats all for today and now to the pictures.

I have strange feeling that something is hovering over my head.

 My Last Traveller docking.

 No! I really wasn't there.

Traffic Jam during moving to null.

Pax Amarria. Have you got yours?

Natural Phenomenas are located in many places of New Eden and most of them are worth of a visit.

Located somewhere near Dead End system.

Abandoned outpost parking just above blue star.

Two pictures of Black obelisk. "It's full of star"

Dont go there. Hic sunt leones.

 Caldari outpost in Fountain.

 Isn't she beautiful?

I love the way how TCU projects the aliance logo.

 Ratting in null.

So that is all for today and from now on my blogs will be more photo oriented then text oriented. Fly safe and good hunting.

019 - Pew

Hi I am here again.

So in last few days I was little bit bored with sitting in belts and listening to quiet humming of my strip miners so I decided, that is time for me to do some low-sec pirating. Pirating seems to be very popular in our small community of capsuleers. So I took my Swift Hunter Mk-IV and went to closest low security system.

I warped to the pirate base which I saw on my radar. On my way there I checked my scanner and it showed Bellicose. My ship started to slow down and then it landed on its final destination and there it was. Bellicose sitting close to old acceleration gate.

Pilot in that minmatar cruiser started to lock me. Adrenalin rushed throught my veins I locked him back, powerd up my warp disruptor and start shooting. He probably did the same becouse my shields went down in few moments. Structural scanner of enemy shiped showd that he is in worse shape then I am. He just started to take first hits to his structure and there were some breaches in his hull. And then. Boom his bellicose-class cruiser went up in flames.

I took some rare ammunition from his wreck and went to another system. On my way I sold that ammo. So I was back in another low security system and I startd to check asteroid belts for some easy prey in form of mining ship. When I warped to third belt in the system I found crow class interceptor. I decided that assault ship should take down interceptor so I engaged. I landed two volleys on my target and then he dissapeard from my range. I tryied to catch up with him but I hadn't have a chance.

He kept his range at 18km and started to slowly cut throught my shield and then throught my armor. I kicked my engines and tryied to dissapear in asteroid field. I heard that some guy named Han solo managed this onece or twice. Apparently I am not as skilled as he was. So I was flying around belt and waiting to beslowly killed. First my guns stoped to work, then navigation system went offline and lastly my warp core started to get overheated. I escaped in my pod at last moment before my ship blew up. I quickly warped to gate and went back to empire.

It was funny day as one of my corpmates said: "Live by a sword, die by a sword."

Today I was walking throught my main hangar at Reset and I noticed it's starting to get crowded. Few battlecruisers few cruisers and of course many frigates. As I was walking throught my frigate row, in far far corner I found my Last Traveller sitting silently. It was sitting here and catching dust since I moved to Reset and it was completly stripped down. So I order my technician to found me some warp core stabilizers, microwarp drive and cloaking device.

After few hours of work my favourite ship was ready to go again. So I stepped into my pod plugged all the wires in and conected to the ship. Becouse I got no luck with recruiting new people to our corporation for last few weeks I decided to go to Gallente home system. Luminaire to look for new pod-pilots who would be willing to join us.

I think this is one of the best pictures I ever took. I really like it.

Station camping during our last war. The Legion looks little bit like small version of Avatar.

This is from one gravimetric site we found in Reset.

 Tengu. What to say.

I got myself a Zephyr. Looks little bit like pod racer from Star Wars woth wings.

 Mining operation and super-can.

I was in Jita and this is taken from one of the gates. Very crowded system.

 I am dying to Crow.

Assault ship... one of many...

So that is all for today...

Fly safe, mine safe and join our corporation...
