006 - Looking in the past

Hello fellow capsuleers,

So after fiasco that happend to me last time while I was scanning and jumped into Serpentis outpost, I decided to approach this problem from different side. I sold my Imicus to local junkyard and for the ISK I got from scrap metal I bought Catalyst. Becouse I ran across some interesting threads on EVE forums about Jove and the other three ancient races I decided to try archaeology. I fitted my new destoryer with scanners, analyzer and some other stuff and set off on my journey.

I went throught some systems with my scanning probes on. And found... let's face it ... nothing besides some other Serpentis bases. Then I got lucky some Gravimetric site blinked on my scanner. I almost jumped out of my capsule with the joy. So I wapred in looking forward to all of those rare ores. My joy faded out really fast. There was only one ore of golden omber and 5 rogue drones. After while there was only one ore of Omber and 5 wrecks. I salvaged them took some screens and continued with my searching.

After while I found something called Haunted Yard. First I thought that this was arcaeological site then I discoverd that it was only another minicomplex full of rogue drones. My guns went blazing and after while I was salvaging again and taking photos. I ended my jorney in Alsottobier. I can recomand that system if you want to see some interesting sights. Arid park is very nice place and whole Contested Canyon of Rust complex is really worth seeing.

So as you can see I found none archaeological site but the trip was worthwhile. So here are the pictures.


Arid Park in Alsottobier. One of the nicest spots I have ever encountred in EVE. I really reccomend it for you to go and see for yourself.


Wyirkomi HQ Fluakelke. Not much to see here only some huge control tower. The place is called Central Administration.


Ebony Tower somwher in Algintal I don't remember the location of it exactly. It's just huge rock but the second picture is quite good.


Roden Shipyard outpost in Fluakelke. As description says this place is good for gamblers drinkers and that bunch of people. So if you think you can use a drink stop by.


This is the small asteroid belt which i found. You can see some really huge drills there.


So this is the famous Haunted Yard with many many drones. The destroyed stargate looks like from some horror movie.


So these are photos from that Canyon of rust. It's few complexes connected by jumpgates. I really enjoyed this one really recommend you to go there and see for yourself. Destroyed stations, comets, casinos etc...

So that was me trying to found some historical sites. I managed to earn about 500k ISK from salvaged items and alloys. So fly safe and see you soon...
